Investigations and decision support

AquaBiota’s great experience in both research and applied assignments/consultancy, makes the company competent in investigating and transferring expertise (within the area of freshwater and marine environment) to authorities, policy makers and other stakeholders. This can be done as investigations, development of methods, indicators or frameworks. Alternatively, basis for decisions such as maps, analyses, or predictions can be provided.

Our investigations are research-based, thorough and of high quality but the scope can be adapted to the client’s needs and requests. Investigations are communicated in a concise and clear way. AquaBiota can also have a supporting role in different situations. For example, AquaBiota staff has often participated as experts within HELCOM, ICES, EU Natura 2000 meetings and projects.
