AquaBiota has now published a series of good results from inventories with eDNA. We have surveyed the diversity of fish, bivalves and amphibians in lakes, streams and the sea. In comparison with previous surveys, eDNA has significantly better described the species diversity.

Breakthrough in Polar Bear Research
Nuclear DNA was for the first time successfully amplified from polar bears snow steps, and the DNA quality in the samples were verified by genetic analyses. The result comes from a collaboration between AquaBiota, WWF and Northern Slope Borough, Utqiaġvik Alaska.
