Frida Gidhagen Fyhr

Frida is a project manager at AquaBiota who works with various tasks related to marine ecology and applications for marine management. Her work has a strong focus towards methods for conservation value assessments, marine green infrastructure, spatial protection and impact assessments. She is part of the Mangement team at AquaBiota and is Chief Security Officer and Web Editor for this homepage.
Frida received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and development from Södertörn University in 2010. Her thesis was conducted as a Minor Field Study in Tanzania where she studied seaweed farming, financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). Frida’s degree includes courses in ecology, biology, geosciences, environmental law, politics and economy, as well as development theory and GIS.
