Welcome to AquaBiota

We are a Swedish subsidiary of the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA). AquaBiota is a research company that focuses primarily on marine issues.

Around half of our business is basic research and half is projects for government agencies and industry, both in Sweden and abroad.

We specialise in the use of geographical information systems (GIS), which we use to analyse and model biological and oceanographic phenomena.
